Sacramento Summer Fellowship
Program Information
The Sacramento Summer Fellowship program is an intensive internship program in Sacramento for college students and recent graduates. The program places participants in the offices of Democratic elected officials from June 18 to August 5.
Through the program, interns will gain valuable experience by participating firsthand in the legislative process and acquire skills applicable to many types of government work.
In addition to internships, the program provides access to special events which give fellows the opportunity to meet and engage with leaders in the fields of policy, campaigns, media, and advocacy.
The Fellowship program is free of charge to all participants, and free housing in the Sacramento area will be provided upon request.
Application Details
During the application process, candidates will be asked to provide their personal information and respond to three short answer questions. Additionally, candidates will be asked to submit a resume, transcript, and list of references.

Preference will be given to active members of CYD or CCD chapters; however, all young Democrats are encouraged to apply.
